You should probably just start with SAirs or Recoveries, as they’re very easy to hit, and can lead to kills, but, as you get used to DAir bounces, you’ll know when to use each extension. If you bounce the opponent off the stage with a DAir, you have a lot of true options. Best Sword Combos and Strings in Brawlhalla DLight>DAir/SAir/Recovery Other than actually recovering, this is true out of DLight, or DAir, assuming it bounces off the stage floor. Each frame is a unique hitbox that can throw the opponent out of the remainder of the spiral. As I said above, opponents generally jump out of this, so look for a DAir, or even another Ground Pound. Its main strength is its low startup frames, so you can fish for instant stabs with it. Average speed, average damage, decent hitbox. Also works for edgeguarding, but SAir is preferred. Based on how you hit the DLight and the DAir, and the percentage of your opponent, multiple different moves are true after the DAir, including SAir, Recovery, and NAir, assuming it bounces off the stage. DAirĭAir is the main followup out of DLight. Thor Thor has great stats, and he gets even stronger with the Dexterity stance. Thatch On Thatch, the Base stance is probably the best choice, but you might consider also the Defense one because he has only 3 base Defense. Rarely, this move is used as a mixup engage in neutral, but don’t use it too much. Teros The Dexterity stance is mandatory on Teros because he is an axe user with 3 base dexterity. Sword’s SAir is mainly an edgeguarding tool, but it’s also a good kill move out of DAir (bounce your opponent off of the floor into a true SAir). TheNinja729: My most hated character is probably Teros because of his high strength and heavy weapon combination. It’s also a pretty decent juggler, but you generally want your opponent on the stage or below you, so don’t fish for juggles too frequently. There are more than hundreds of combos that you can derive from the 12 weapons in Brawlhalla. You’ll mainly follow this up with a DAir, but SAir and Recovery are also true. You’ll mainly use this to catch your opponent in neutral. Sword’s DLight is its main anti-air move, but that doesn’t make it a good one. Medium range, long active frames, good for catching recoveries to the corner. The Sword Moveset in Brawlhalla NLightĪ standard NLight. Brawlhalla Combos Notations: Recovery, Heavy in the air, Rec Ground Pound, Down Heavy while in the air, GP Gravity Cancel, Press Dodge while in the air, GC. If your opponent tries to duck under you, you can use DAir, but try not to let them get above you, as you don’t have many options for that. Think of your SAir as a continuous vertical wall on the edge of the stage you’ll want to meet your opponent where they intersect this wall, and deflect them with SAir.
